Once your details come through, one of us calls you back — not a call centre, and not a commissioned salesperson. We'll ask what you're currently paying, what's already on your roof if anything, and what you want the system to do. That conversation is usually enough to tell you whether the job is worth pursuing.
Next is the site visit. We check the roof properly — aspect, condition, shading and how the tiles or sheeting are holding up — and we open the switchboard, because that's where most of the surprises are in older Newcastle and Lake Macquarie homes. Bring a recent bill if you can: your usage pattern tells us far more about the right battery size than your roof area does.
Then you get a written quote showing the system, the hardware, every incentive applied and the total to pay after them. Any switchboard work needed is inside that number.
What you're quoting on
Systems are designed around your household rather than pulled off a package list. If you're starting from scratch, that usually means solar and a battery designed together as one DC-coupled system. If you already have panels, it means an AC-coupled battery retrofit alongside them.
Every install is done by our own licensed electricians out of Hamilton North. We don't subcontract, so the people who quote your job are the people on your roof, and anything needing attention afterwards is handled by the same crew.
Rebates are applied for you. Small-scale technology certificates come off new solar, the federal Cheaper Home Batteries discount comes off the battery, and the $15,000 NSW interest-free Home Energy Saver loan is available if you'd rather spread the cost. We're accredited to administer these.
